RETAINS FACTORY MICROPHONE: The primary purpose of the MIC1 is to allow you to continue using your vehicle's built-in microphone with your new aftermarket radio, eliminating the need to install a separate external microphone.
WEB PROGRAMMABLE: Like other iDatalink products, the MIC1 is programmable via Weblink Desktop, a computer application.
VEHICLE AND RADIO SPECIFIC: The module is flashed (programmed) for both your specific vehicle and the aftermarket radio you are connecting it to, ensuring compatibility.
STANDALONE OR PAIRED: The MIC1 can be installed as a standalone interface or used in conjunction with other iDatalink Maestro modules like the ADS-MSR, ADS-MRR, or ADS-MRR2. (Sold Separately)
CALIBRATES AND TUNES MICROPHONE: It calibrates and tunes the factory microphone for the connected aftermarket radio, ensuring optimal performance and sound quality.
SIMPLIFIES INSTALLATIONS: When used with an iDatalink Maestro SR, RR, or RR2 module and a vehicle-specific T-Harness, the MIC1 connects directly to the T-Harness for a simpler installation process. (Sold Separately)
INCLUDES NECESSARY CONNECTIONS: The MIC1 comes with all the required microphone connection types for various supported aftermarket radios.
